THE PROCESS
CONSULTATION
The first step in your ADP love story is the booking process. Fill out the contact form below and a response will shortly head your way so we can schedule a consultation to get to know each other and chat about your vision! When you decide which package option is best for you, a retainer will be due to secure your date.
ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS
Some of our packages include a complimentary engagement or boudoir session, but even if your package doesn't, it's always available as an add-on! We'll be in touch about it and get you scheduled as soon as we can. In the days leading up to your shoot, you'll receive helpful emails from me about including wardrobe styling tips and a photoshoot prep guide.
When we arrive at the designated location on the day of the shoot, we'll go over your ideas and expectations and then we'll jump into shooting! Don't worry if you've never done this before, Alyssa's an experienced photographer who will pose you from head to toe and guide you through the whole shoot.
COMMUNICATION
In the time between booking and your ceremony, you'll receive a good amount of emails from me. Some will be helpful information for planning your event and some will be important questionnaires for you to fill out so we have all the information we need to make your day the very best it can be.
We can also meet many times before your wedding if necessary, but if not, we will at very least meet once again approximately one month before your ceremony to go over all of the final details of your wedding. This is when we will solidify the timeline and I will create a custom wedding timeline for you to send to your guests and vendors so everyone knows the plan.
THE BIG DAY
The day of, my second shooter and I will arrive at the location and start setting up. Everything is streamlined from here! If you have any questions the day of, we're always there to answer questions and help out. When the day is over, we'll get back and get all of your photos uploading to our server and backing up right away.
VIEWING SESSION
Following your ceremony, we'll be hard at work culling, color grading, and editing your precious memories. When we finally finish up, you'll get to come to our studio to view a slideshow of all of the beautiful photos we captured from your big day!
After the slideshow, you'll get to pick out your favorite photos to put into your wedding album, and you'll also have the opportunity to purchase one of our curated wedding collections as well as any additional a la carte products you may want. Once the balance is paid in full, your photos will be printed and you will be updated from there!

Your Investment
Instead of adding to all of your wedding planning stress, I want to make this easy for you! Our pricing is divided into two simple payments -- a security retainer and a final payment due one month before the ceremony -- and can be split up with a payment plan to accommodate for your unique budgeting needs. We also offer automatic payments and a custom online portal for payment and detail tracking.
Our wedding and elopement collections start at $2700 and a minimum of 6 hours of coverage. Contact us to schedule a complimentary consultation meeting so we can discuss your personal vision and find something that works best for you!

Custom Timelines
YEP, YOU DID READ THAT RIGHT!
We take wedding photography a step farther by creating a custom timeline just like this one for your own wedding! Why? Not only does this make our job easier by allowing enough time and giving everyone a clear cut idea of when they should be where, it gives you one less thing to worry about before your big day.
We typically have a meeting about one month before your ceremony to go over and solidify your timeline (as well as work out a few other final details). After that meeting we get to work creating your pdf timeline and you should have it within the next couple of weeks!

Do you offer payment plans?Yes! When you decide to book with Alyssa Daken Photography, an initial retainer will be required to secure your date. After that, a payment plan can be set up in several installments for the remaining balance. The amount of installments is up to you and your budgeting needs and the full balance is due at least a month before the cceremony date.

Do we get every image you take?In short: no. Throughout the day, my second photographer and I take thousands of photos to ensure we capture every single important moment. In doing so, we also capture quite a few unimportant moments (blurred photos, silly faces, blinking eyes... the list goes on). We're committed to delivering nothing but the best! Because of this, we meticulously cull your images into a plentiful, yet digestible, amount (because who needs thirty photos of Uncle Jack doing the chacha slide?) But don't worry, we wont hold back on any precious moments. You will recieve all of the good, relevant photographs, all edited to perfection!

Do you travel?Yes, we do! We're happy to photograph your ceremony wherever it is, be it near or far, indoor our outdoor, big or small! Schedule a free consultation meeting with us to discuss the details with us. Please note that travel and lodging accommadations are a requirement for any distant ceremony.
Love Notes
Fit me in her schedule even when I asked her literally the day before my wedding as my other photographer fell through. Made it work, and made my fricken wedding pictures surreal. They bring back all the memories from the day and really captured the emotions and the details. I love looking back on my wedding pictures! Definitely 11/10 recommend! You get every pennies worth, and LOVE having great pictures to look back on one of the greatest days of my life!
